Poll Workers Needed!!

San Andreas, CA...About 30 poll workers are still need for the June 7, 2016 Presidential Primary Election. The majority of the areas that still require poll workers are: San Andreas, Burson, Mountain Ranch, Rail Road, West Point, Mokelumne Hill, Murphys, Angels Camp, Copper, and Valley Springs.

Poll Worker Stipends:
Clerk $85.00
Student Poll Worker $85.00
Bilingual Services $10.00
Attending Instructional Classes/Picking up Supplies $5.00
Returning Ballots/Supplies to Clerk’s Office Election Night $5.00
Cell Phone Usage $5.00
To be a poll worker in Calaveras County, you must be:
 18 years of age or older (unless participating in the Student Poll Worker Program)
 A resident of California
 A United States citizen registered to vote or a legal permanent resident(green card holder)
Poll workers must be available between the hours of 6am and 10pm to set up the polls, provide assistance to voters and conduct poll closing procedures.
