A Quote From Thomas Jefferson From 1787 In Praise Of The Rural Life

Paris, FR...Written when he was Ambassador to France. "I think our governments will remain virtuous for many centuries; as long as they are chiefly agricultural; and this will be as long as there shall be vacant lands in any part of America. When they get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, they will become corrupt." Written by Thomas Jefferson to James Madison ~ Brought To You By Allison James Real Estate

All the hubub is just a ploy to get a conservative off the planning commission. Wooster made an obviously politically incorrect statement but they are using it to try and change make up of board. It is a power play nothing more

Rural life in Calaveras County has been great. Now it is threatened by commercial, yes commercial, unchecked growth of so called "medical" marijuana. You have two choices people. Let it grow unchecked, affecting YOUR lifestyle, or let the Board, which has definitely drank the coolaid, know of your distaste. Plus demand a Sheriff who will uphold the law's of the state. Not one who turns his head on the pot industry.

Yep, just the dollars alone generate potential violent crime. Steal a case of wine and stay drunk for a few days. Steal a pot shipment and live for a year

A "pot shipment"....oh jeez, aren't you worried they might be hiding a roscoe, or a heater in their dungarees?
