Angelina M. Nelson 1924 - 2016
San Andreas, CA...Angelina M. Nelson, Born: June 19, 1924 in Blue Canyon, CA to Argeutina and Joseph Rovetti, and passed away on January 10, 2016 at her home in San Andreas She lived in Eder, Emigrant Gap, Truckee and Auburn and was a lifelong resident of California. Angelina attended school in Emigrant Gap and Truckee and moved to Auburn in 1936 where she finished her schooling and graduated from High School in 1942.
Married Bob Nelson in Auburn in 1947 and were married for 59 years. They moved to San Andreas in 1947 and have lived here since then. She worked for the Welfare Department for 7 years and the County Office of Education in the Audio Visual Department for 28 years. She retired in 1983.
Angelina is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Nelson and is survived by her sister, Lena Willis of Sacramento and many nieces and nephews.
She also survived by her friends and caregivers Pete & Crystal Torres of San Andreas.
There will be a graveside service at Peoples Cemetery on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00AM with a Luncheon to follow at the VFW Post 2600 in San Andreas.
