1:30 PM to 2:00 PM: PUBLIC COMMENT
FINDINGS
1. The Board Chair called this emergency meeting to recommend that the Board declare a state of local emergency due to the Butte Fire.
2. The Board of Supervisors finds that the Butte Fire qualifies as an "emergency" per Gov. Code. 54956.5 (a), as it is "an evernt that severely impairs public health and safety."
3. The Board of Supervisors further finds that the Butte Fire "disrupts or threatens to disrupt public facilities" per Gov. Code 54956.5 (b), and therefore an emergency meeting on one-hour public notice is appropriate under the Brown Act.

Lets help

When some are hurting we are all obligated to extend a helping hand. Even small donations are helpful in dire situations. Seeing relief in those in pain is a great reward.

Really, Ironstone? You're millionaires, several times over.
Are you going to be donating some cash to ths cause, or just dropping off our donations in your own name?

Whatever anyone does that helps is great, whether they are Ironstone or not. No one is better than anyone else when there is an emergency.

And how do you know???? What an asinine thing to say. Seriously social media and the ability to hide behind a computer and make comments that you know nothing about, really really pisses me off. Whatever happened to if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all. Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and instead of making dumb*bleep* comments such as these, try helping out those who are in need. No one on here sees any effort you're making asshat!

I am actually, not that it is any of your f'ing business. But just because you are a complete and utter moron I will oblige you with how I am helping. I have donated items, I have a pasture for large animals and I have donated monetarily to the evacuees. So piss off

Nice comeback, keep them coming. Your obvious lack of education warrants your lame response. I am simply stating a fact that your obsession with Ironstone and its responsibility to the community because of their "millions" is completely unfounded. Unless you personally know their worth, making an undocumented comment such as yours makes you look foolish.

Really how awful to say , I'm not sure who you think you are but we come together as a community . I don't know if your male or female but you really should be ashamed of yourself.

I agree, Ironstone Vineyards needs to make cash donations to the victims of this fire. God only knows how much money that they have ripped off from their customers from all of their functions.

Just wow, talk about a bunch of ungrateful useless human beings. The county is under a severe emergency, a local business is trying to help and you spew your garbage. Do us all a favor and shut the hole under your nose and go troll somewhere else, like a video game chat room for useless people who live in their parents basement and haven't seen the sun in years. I hope you are never in a position that needs anyone's help. It would never be enough. Poor victims you are. The world owes you....

Reading these comments, it's kind of sad some people seem so miserable in life, and then try to pass their misery onto others. They want the success of someone who worked for what they've accomplished in life. All I can say to them is L O S E R neener neener neener.
I'll be headed to the store and picking up a few things and dropping them off at Ironstone later today. You loser, can sit here and spit venom at everyone who tries to help, you pathetic little loser in life.

Then don't go there. Don't help others, and when it is time to help you, we will all sit around and do nothing. This has nothing to do with Ironstone, and that is your problem. THIS IS ABOUT THE FIRE AND EVACUEES......GET OVER IT!
