Two Oakdale Men Arrested For Don Pedro and Lake Tulloch Area Thefts

Oakdale, CA...Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies and Detectives have been investigating a string of burglaries that have been occurring over the last few months in the Lake Don Pedro Area and Lake Tulloch Area. These thefts have been mainly from boats and dock areas. The investigation led Detectives to a home in the 200 Block of Johnson Avenue in the City of Oakdale.

On 8/30/15 Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies and the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, served a search warrant at the involved residence in the 200 Block of Johnson Avenue in the City of Oakdale. Numerous stolen items were located at the residence including items from burglaries that occurred in the Lake Don Pedro, Lake Tulloch area. Two suspects were taken into custody for possession of stolen property, 34 year old Mark Tomlinson Jr., and 32 year old Joshua Tomlinson. Both suspects reside in Oakdale.

The suspected stolen items were taken as evidence by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office. Both suspects were booked into the Tuolumne County Jail and bail was set at ten thousand dollars (10,000). Both suspects have been released from custody pending their court date.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this Investigation by the Oakdale Police Department.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is asking that any member of the public that has been a victim of a theft from a boat or dock area on Lake Don Pedro and/or Lake Tulloch in the last few months to please call the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 533-5815 and report the theft.

32 Years of Age
Resident of Oakdale, CA

Charges: 496 P.C. Possession/Receiving Stolen Property

Bail: 10,000 Dollars
