ATM Stolen From Loggers Club In Tuolumne

Tuolumne, CA...On 8/29/15 about 05:55 A.M. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies, were dispatched to the Logger’s Club Bar in the 18000 block of Bay Avenue in Tuolumne on a report of a burglary. Arriving Deputies found the security gate on the front door had been ripped from its frame and the front doors appeared to have been forced open. The ATM was missing and it appeared the suspects had used a cable or chain to rip the ATM from its mounting and out of the business. A witness reported to the Deputies that he saw a light colored truck similar to a Ford Ranger or Chevy S10 flee the area at a high rate of speed with a large object in the bed of the truck.

Deputies completed an extensive area check but were unable to locate the truck.

On 8/30/15 a citizen reported finding the missing ATM Machine off of the roadway near Eden Road and Knox Road in Tuolumne, CA. The ATM was recovered by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office and taken as evidence. It will be processed for fingerprints or any other items of investigative value.

There is no monetary estimate of the loss from the Logger’s Club at this time.

No arrests have been made but the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident. If anyone has information regarding this crime please contact he Tuolumne County Sheriff’s at (209) 533-5815.
