Traffic Advisory - San Andreas. Increased traffic due to healthwalk. Watch for pedestrians. 11am to 1pm
San Andreas, CA – On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, San Andreas California Highway Patrol will be assisting with the annual San Andreas Community Health Walk. There will be numerous participants and traffic may be affected. There will be no road closures however expect intermittent pedestrian crossings...
This health walk is sponsored by Calaveras Public Health Services, Health and Human Services Agency, and the Calaveras Council of Governments. It will be starting from various locations in San Andreas including the Government Center, San Andreas Elementary, and the CalWORKS building. The walk is expected between 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The Calaveras Citizen Corps Council including Calaveras Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Calaveras Animal Disaster Services (CADS) will be assisting in traffic management.
This advisory is only to alert local residents who may see an increased amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in San Andreas
.
