This Week at the Arnold CHS Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center – ELSA!

Arnold, CA...Stop by Calaveras Humane Society's Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center in Arnold, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open Thurs. through Sat., 10 am–5 pm (Phone 209-795-GIVE). Elsa will be there, along with other kitties who would love to meet you. We will also have kitties available at our Angels Camp Adoption Center, located in Angels Town Center (240 S. Main St./Hwy 49), open Thurs. through Sat., 11 am–5 pm. This week we have GUEST CATS from Calaveras County Animal Services appearing at both adoption centers! This is an exciting new opportunity to meet and adopt shelter cats at the CHS Adoption Centers! There are still many wonderful adults from last season, like Elsa, who have been patiently waiting for their forever homes. Please OPT to ADOPT an ADULT KITTY and don't leave them behind! Come in and find your special companion!

ELSA is an adorable short-haired black & white tuxedo adult (4-5 years old). She is a petite kitty with beautiful green eyes. Elsa adjusts quickly to new situations. She is good with children who are gentle with her. As soon as you touch her, she revs up her purr motor, which is quite loud for such a little girl. Elsa loves to follow you around and be a real companion. She speaks with you in “kitty chirps” and is content to be close to you while you do your thing. She can also amuse herself with her toy mice, especially in the morning and evening. It is fun to watch her carry them around in her mouth and toss them up in the air. Elsa gets along well with the cat-friendly dogs at her foster home, as well as the two other cats. She has lost some teeth and in the future may need some dental work, but she is healthy and is currently on dry food.
