Paul Gordon Sherrow July 28, 1939 – April 27, 2015

Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp resident Paul G. Sherrow passed away at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2015. He was 75 years old. Mr. Sherrow was born in French Camp, CA to James and Betha Sherrow. He lived in Calaveras County for 67 years. He lived in Angels Camp for the past 45 years. Paul worked for the Calaveras Cement Plant as a mechanic welder for 23 years until the plant closed. He then worked at Bret Harte High School and retired after 21 years....





Paul enjoyed wood cutting, hunting, fishing, and summers up at Highland Lakes with his wife and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Lemoin (Sonny) Sherrow and his loving wife, Georgeine of 51 years. He is survived by his sons and their wives Jim and Cindy Sherrow of White Pines, and Todd and Kris Sherrow of Angels Camp, his sisters Anita(Joiner), Phyllis (Adix), Lois (Wanzer) and Jennell (Machado); five grandsons, Josh and (Amber), Greg and (Sandra), Justin, Tyler and Tanner, four Great Granddaughters Shayna, Melana, Kelsey and Ainsley; and many nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9th in the Multi Purpose room at Bret Harte High School, 323 S. Main St., Angels Camp, with a reception immediately following.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
