1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE Adopt a Proclamation recognizing March 2015 as American Red
Cross Month in Calaveras County.
9:00 AM TO 9:30 AM: PUBLIC COMMENT
Any item of interest to the public that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board and is not
posted on the Consent or Regular agendas may be addressed during the Public Comment period.
California law prohibits the Board from taking action on any matter which is not posted on the agenda
unless it is determined to be an emergency by the Board of Supervisors. If Public Comment is completed
before the 30 minute allotted time period, the Board may immediately move to the Consent Agenda. If
Public Comment is not completed during the allotted time period, it will be continued at the conclusion of
the Regular Agenda in order to provide an opportunity for the remainder of comments to be heard.

3. SHERIFF Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the County Administrative Officer to Sign the Edward
Byrne Memorial Anti-Drug Abuse Justice Assistance Grant Agreement with the Board of State
and Community Corrections for a Grant Award Amount of $220,000 per Year, or $660,000 for the
Entire Three Year Grant Performance Period
4. PUBLIC WORKS Approve an increase to the Valley Pacific Petroleum Blanket Purchase Order
by $45,000 for an amount not to exceed $107,305 for Fiscal Year 2014/15.
5. FIRST 5 CALAVERAS Approve Revisions to First 5 Calaveras Commission Bylaws
6. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE Resolution authorizing changes to the Position Control List for
Fiscal Year 2014-15

11. HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY 1) Conduct a Public Hearing to solicit community
input on a proposed supplemental Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project to be
submitted to the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for senior
medical services transportation in the amount of $250,000 utilizing CDBG Program Income
Reuse Funds; and 2) Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Director of Health and Human Services
to submit to HCD the request for this supplemental project.
12. PUBLIC WORKS Review the Calaveras Transit FY 2014-15 Second Quarter Performance
Report
13. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE Appointment of applicants to serve on various Committees,
Commissions, Advisory Boards and County Service Areas.
14. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE Appointment of applicant to serve on the IHSS Advisory Committee.
15. Board Member Announcements – In compliance with AB 1234, chaptered as Government Code
Section 53232.3(d), this is the time for board members to report on meetings attended on behalf
of the County and to carry out their duties as a County Supervisor.
