RCRC Installed It's 2015 Officers To Represent Rural California
Sacramento, CA...January 22, 2015 – Last evening, the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) installed its 2015 Officers at the Annual Installation and Reception in Sacramento. Sierra County Supervisor Lee Adams was installed as Chair, Glenn County Supervisor John Viegas was installed as First Vice Chair, and Tehama County Supervisor Bob Williams was installed as Second Vice Chair, while Nevada County Supervisor Nate Beason became Immediate Past Chair. The newly elected Officers will lead the organization in championing policies on behalf of California’s rural counties....
“It is a privilege to have been selected to lead RCRC’s efforts on behalf of rural California, and I am honored and thankful that my fellow rural county leaders have entrusted me as Chair,” said Supervisor Lee Adams. “2015 is shaping up to be another challenging year for rural counties, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with the RCRC Board Members and staff on strategies and opportunities to enhance life in rural California.”
At the RCRC Board of Directors Meeting earlier in the day, Members of the 2015 RCRC Executive Committee were appointed as follows:
Region 1: Supervisor Rex Bohn (Humboldt)
Region 2: Supervisor Doug Teeter (Buttte)
Region 3: Supervisor Roger Abe (Yuba)
Region 4: Supervisor Tim Fesko (Mono)
Region 5: Supervisor Kevin Cann (Mariposa)
