The Mokelumne River Watershed It’s your watershed, your future – your voice matters!

San Andreas, CA...Please join us for the third public workshop of the MokeWISE program We will discuss water availability, project concepts, and project concept assessment. California is facing what could be the worst drought on record, which may have severe consequences on our water supply. The Mokelumne Watershed Interregional Sustainability Evaluation (MokeWISE) program will develop projects and programs that will increase the sustainabilty of our region and help mitigate the effects of drought....

Program Overview
The MokeWISE program will develop and evaluate alternatives to enhance water resources management within the watershed ¡V ranging from the Sierra foothills in Alpine County to the Delta. A variety of water sources have been assessed and evaluated, including stormwater, recycled water, Mokelumne River water, groundwater, desalination, and conservation. The program will result in a broadly-supported water resources program that will help us better prepare for an uncertain future.

The MokeWISE program will:
„h Evaluate opportunities for integrated and collaborative water management, with
the potential to provide benefits to a broad range of Mokelumne River basin
stakeholders
„h Identify actions with broad support amongst participating stakeholders
„h Develop a multi-regional conceptual plan to implement the preferred program
