ALL MINOR AND MAJOR DIVISION PLAYERS MUST ATTEND ONE
PLAYER EVALUATION DAY
According to provisions of the regulations of Little League Baseball, BHLL must conduct annual tryouts for minors, majors and juniors division players to score player performance in advance of the player selection process or draft.
On evaluation day, players can expect to be evaluated on the following skills: base running, fielding ground and fly balls, machine pitch batting and infield throwing.
If your child will be 9 years or older on or before May 1, 2015, he/she must attend a player evaluation day.
Baseball Age 8 Players MAY Tryout for Minors Division
If your child will be 8 years old on or before May 1, 2014, has played at least one season in the machine pitch division and would like to be considered for the minors division, he/she must attend one of the BHLL player evaluation dates above. Please notify the league in your registration paperwork that your 8 year old would like to tryout.

2015 BHLL Post Season Tournament Play
Each season BHLL enters a Minors's division (9 - 10 year old), a Major's Division (11 - 12 year olds) and a Junior's Division (13+) team into the international Little League District 15 Tournament of Champions (TOC) event and District 15 All Star tournament. BHLL is tentatively scheduled to host the TOC's at Frog Town in June 2015.
TOC teams this year will be determined by their results of the end of the season division playoff event scheduled for May 26 - 30, 2015. The playoff winner in each division (Minors, Majors and Juniors) will advance to represent BHLL at the 2015 TOC's.
For the all stars, their are several eligibility criteria requirements, most notably age and residency requirements. Players must be "league age" (9-10, 11-12, 13-14) to participate based on their age before May 1. Players must also demonstrate that they reside within BHLL boundaries and that they have played in a majority of their team's scheduled games.
The player's team must have played a minimum of twelve regular season games. Selection of each team takes place at the end of regular season play and is based on input from players, coaches and managers.
BHLL's objectives in assembling these tournament teams includes ensuring at least one player is chosen from each BHLL team in their division, rewarding players who demonstrate solid skills, hard work and teamwork and striving to build teams which will be competitive.
Team rosters are announced in mid June with practice beginning soon after. The All Star game schedule continues into July. Ask your coach or manager for more information.

Bret Harte Little League Mission Statement
Bret Harte Little League's mission is to provide a fun and safe environment for children in the area to play baseball.
The League's purpose is to create an atmosphere in which our players learn the lessons that playing baseball can provide them. These include teamwork, discipline, fair play, meeting challenges and developing a greater sense of self esteem through accomplishments.
Additionally, the League strives to foster an organized effort for our parent and adult volunteers so they can assist our players with their development in baseball and in the virtues of character, citizenship, courage and loyalty.
