Board Certified Pediatrician to join Mark Twain Medical Center... Dr. John Anderson to practice at the Arnold and Angels Camp Medical Centers
San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) announces it has successfully recruited Board Certified Pediatrician Dr. John Anderson to the Arnold and Angels Camp Medical Centers, where he will care for patients in the Tri-County area....
“We are very pleased with the quality of multiple physicians that are choosing to move to Calaveras County as a part of our successful recruiting efforts,” commented Craig Marks, “Dr. Anderson will bridge a gap for needed pediatric care in our community. He is a well experienced and very qualified pediatrician that cares deeply about his patients and their families.”
Dr. Anderson received his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University in Morgantown. He completed his pediatrics residency with West Virginia University Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics.
In his free time Dr. Anderson enjoys hiking, camping, sailing and he has a special interest in vintage Volkswagens. He has previously been an active member of the Testicular Cancer Support Forum, a longtime volunteer Habitat for Humanity, past volunteer for the Potomac Appalachian Trail Commission and volunteered his time to care for hurricane Katrina victims.
“Moving to Calaveras County has been a wonderful experience for our family,” stated Dr. Anderson. “The staff at MTMC and the entire community has been so welcoming and kind. Another reason my wife, Dr. Andrea Greenfeld and I choose Calaveras County to live and raise our daughter is the community need for more health care providers, particularity pediatricians. I have devoted my entire career to treating and caring for young and adolescent children. I have considered it a privilege to serve children and their families. Being a Pediatrician has allowed me to come to know my patients and their families and form lasting relationships through my years of practice. I hope to establish similar relationships here.”
Dr. Anderson and his wife Dr. Andrea Greenfeld, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and their daughter have relocated from Alaska and are making their home in Murphys.
Dr. Anderson has joined the Arnold Medical Center with providers Andrea Greenfeld, MD, Jerry Nadler, MD, Stephanie Peffer, FNP, and Leanne Watkins, PA. As well as the Angels Camp Medical Center team
of Andrea Greenfeld, MD, Star Hildabrand, PA. and Karen Karam, LCSW. To schedule an appointment please call 754-2968.
