Dick Heisinger Memorial Golf Tournament Raises $16,383.83 For Hospice

White Pines, CA...The Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge went above and beyond the call of duty again this year as the Dick Heisinger Memorial Golf Tournament raised $16,383,83 for Hospice of the Sierra. It was another example of how the Loyal Order Of The Moose can have a great time and benefit the community in a very big way!!

Here are the names of everybody pictured presenting Hospice of the Sierra with the proceeds check from the Dick Heisinger Memorial Golf Tournament July 25th. Starting from the left:

Chad Kavanaugh, Hospice volunteer (helped serve the steak dinner at the Moose after the tournament) June Diggle, Hospice Advisory Board member Harry Tittle, (golf tournament committee member) Judy Myers, Hospice Advisory Board member Shauna Burrow, Hospice bereavement volunteer coordinator Beth Lemon, (organized the margarita hole--over $1000 donated to them was donated back to the tournament) Wayne Renaud, (committee member & part of the crew who served the steak dinners at the Moose after the tournament) Marilyn Strand, (committee member & crew for steak dinner) -- she's hiding behind Susan. Susan Endter, Hospice Supervisor Marsha Fagnani, (steak dinner prep) Johnny Blake (committee member & in charge of the steak BBQ dinner) Steve Heisinger, (committee member, sponsor & son of the late Dick Heisinger) Bill Kislingbury, (committee member & Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge #1123 Administrator) Debbie (Heisinger) Bruneau,, (committee member, sponsor & daughter of Dick Heisinger) Steve Bruneau, (committee member, sponsor & Dick's son-in-law) Dan Leary (Governor-Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge #1123 & sponsor) Cathi Kirby, (margarita hole coordinator and sponsor of the tournament) Ray Bertolino, (committee chairman) Not pictured: Guy Valverde, (committee member & sponsor) Frank Neith (steak dinner crew) Pat Collum & Scott McKinney -- both committee members and sponsors.

We thank all of those who participated in a wonderful and rewarding tournament.

Our Lodge is located at the end of Blagen Road, across from the beautiful White Pines Lake. The lake is full and looks awesome!!

We always extend an invitation from our Loyal Order of the Moose and the Women of the Moose to check in with a member and come on down!!

Our Medical Supply Team is ready to meet you needs for crutches, wheel chairs, potty seats and shower help accessories. Please call Rod Cummins at 795-5772 and he will arrange to meet you at the lodge.

We have dinners on Thursday Nights and Wednesday Luncheons. If you are hungry grab a friend, come on down with a member and enjoy the food!! This is just another way of giving back to you our local residents!!

Don’t forget we have Bingo every Wednesday Night and use those winnings to help again with our local community. Bingo is open to the public, you must be 18 years of age and we always appreciate your support!!

Remember we are a private organization and all participation must be as a guest of a currently active member. Applications are available from your sponsor or in the lodge.

Anyone wishing information about joining the Loyal Order of the Moose may ask any member or call the Lodge at 209-795-3112.
