Murphys Newest Restaurant Is Rob's Place
Murphys, CA...At the south end of Main Street in Murphys you will find Rob's Place. It is the new business and dream of Chef and Owner Rob Christie. Rob Started in the food industry here locally many years ago at Lake Alpine Lodge and spent many years as the Executive Chef of the Bear Valley Lodge before spending the last couple of years as the Executive Chef at Ironstone before taking the plunge. So most of you reading this have already enjoyed Rob's creations. Rob's motto for the restaurant is “Making It Fresh” with generous portions, fresh ingredients and consistent quality....
Rob's Place is open Tuesday – Saturday for lunch and dinner. Their lunch burgers and sandwiches are served piled high with fresh cut fries that will have you making tracks back for more.
One area Rob focused on when making improvements to the location was the patio. They can now seat 45 in their spacious and relaxing outdoor seating area. So a summer evening on the patio enjoying a great meal and a glass of Calaveras County wines is a great way to celebrate living or visiting our area.
