Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players in Copper for the 23rd Annual Music in the Parks

Copperopolis, Ca...Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players are an acoustic quartet hailing from Stockton, but have strong local ties to Calaveras County. Effortlessly blending americana, bluegrass, soul, and old time music, this fantastic ensemble filled the Copper Town Square with uplifting and exciting tunes. With people young and old relaxing on the lawn, in fold out chairs, patio furniture, at tables, on steps, or even in bean bag chairs, the 23rd Annual Music in the Parks Concert Series was kicked off with quite the crowd. This engaging group had listeners laughing, dancing, and singing along as they put on their show...

Check out the slideshow of this great evening by clicking the photos above!

Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players are:
-Snap Jackson on lead vocals, banjo, ukulele
-Shane Kalbach on vocals, fiddle, mandolin
-Eric Antrim on vocals and guitar
-Brian Clark on vocals and upright bass

It is obvious from the moment this group takes the stage that they are ready to have a good time. Whether it's a street corner, theatre, house concert, or outdoor festival, these boys are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Presenting free "Music in the Parks" is one way the Calaveras Arts Council serves the public. These concerts strive to be family friendly, creating an atmosphere that brings our community together. The vision is that regular outdoor summer concerts become a vital element of our community element of our community life and are important tools in the economic development of the region. This activity is funded by individuals and businesses in our community by their memberships, donations, and advertisements.
