The Angels Camp Farmers Market Kicks Off 2014 Run

Angels Camp, Ca... The Angels Camp Certified Farmers Market kicked off the season June 6, at its Utica Park location in historic downtown Angels Camp. The festivities are under the watchful eye of Candy Myers the new Market Manager. The market will run every Friday through September 26, and market visitors will be able to enjoy Friday evenings in the park while shopping for fresh, locally grown produce and specialty foods and enjoying exciting entertainment....

The Certified Farmers Market will have familiar farms and food producers that include Oneto Farm, Farbotnik Farm, and Apkarian Family Farm. New farms and specialty foods will include jams and syrups, fresh herbs, gluten free baked goods and eggs. Shoppers will continue to see local olive oil, fresh baked breads and desserts, local foraged mushrooms, nuts and fruits, spices and marinades, kettle corn and much more.

Market favorites Rico’s Taco Truck and T-Roy’s Smoke Shack will be back as food vendors. T-Roy’s Smoke Shack will be offering BBQ sandwiches with slow smoked pulled pork and brisket and sausage links, along with homemade sides. Rico’s will be back with all their delicious Mexican food, including tacos, burritos and quesadillas with a choice of freshly cooked fillings.”

Wine tasting, with a featured local guest winery, and beer and wine sales are offered each week. Every Friday the winemaker or a winery representative will offer wine samples along with sales by the glass and bottle for patrons to enjoy with their dinner or while strolling for fresh local produce and goods or being entertained by our talented musical artists. The June 13 will feature Angels Camp winery, Mineral Wines, with musical entertainment by the talented and entertaining group Cabby.

The Angels Camp Farmers Market is celebrating its ninth year and is a community project of the Angels Camp Business Association.

Where are the photos of the 'NO DOGS ALLOWED' signs? These trip hazards are everywhere you turn... and if they keep raising the fees then the market will be only signs where there used to be vendors! Whose making it their personal crusade to kill off the Farmers Market??? It has potential for great community involvement, but never gonna happen the way it is being run now.

Headline should be "Its 2014 Run" not "It's (it is) 2014 Run"
Time to learn the difference between the possessive pronun and the contraction !
