OUR MISSION

Offering services to children and adults with or without special needs - building trust, self-confidence, physical strength and dexterity.

ABOUT US

Harmony Ranch is a non-profit horsemanship program offering recreational therapeutic services to children and adults with or without special needs. Our program provides an atmosphere of safety, understanding and ethical treatment of humans and horses engaged in equine-assisted activities.

We are a Member Center of PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) formed in 1969, previously known as NARHA. PATH Int. is the leading overseer of therapeutic horseback riding and offers continuing education andcertification for our instructors. Tara Glessman, or Executive Director, is a PATH Int. certified trainer.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

Self-esteem, self discipline, motivation, and increased concentration.

Horseback riding gently and rhythmically moves a rider's body in a manner similar to a human gait. Riders with physical disabilities often show improvement in balance, flexibility, and muscle strength.

Riders who have emotional challenges can form a unique relationship with the horse that can lead to increased confidence and patience.

Programs

Harmony Ranch offers a variety of instructional programs. From private lessons, to group lessons, to day camps, we have the perfect program to meet your needs and those of your children.
Lessons are structured to address a student's individual needs. Students can experience pride in catching, leading and grooming their horse. Riding these amazing animals gives the rider a great sense of accomplishment.

With patience and understanding we provide a safe and secure environment for our students to reach their individual goals.

Sponsorships are availble for all programs. Inquire for more details.
