The 2014 Whiskerino Dinner & Dance Filled Mark Twain Hall on Saturday Night.
Angels Camp, CA...(Frogtown)...The lead up to the 2014 Fair and Frog Jump Jubilee is well underway. The Miss Calaveras Field contains 14 local beauties who will vie for the coveted crown. In the knock down, no holds barred facial hair contest, David Howard won Best Beard, Mark Franz won Best Trimmed Facial Hair, Best Mustache, and Best Overall Facial Hair. Whiskerino dinner and dance was a great time!!! All profits were split 50/50 with the Junior Livestock and Friends of the Fair non profits. Junior livestock is funding this years livestock show and auction at the Calaveras County fair. Fun time for the whole family!!!
With political season in full swing the crowd was also filled with candidates for many of the local races pressing the flesh and mixing and mingling.
In the slideshow above their are over 60 photos and they should get you marking your calendar to set a date to abandon your razors and get ready for the 2015 contest. Short of that we will see you at the Fair.
