Mark Twain Cancer Center Welcomes Additional Board Certified Oncologist/Hematologist Shiva Singhal, MD, MPH
San Andreas, CA....Mark Twain Medical Center announces the successful recruitment of Dr. Shiva Singhal to the Mark Twain Cancer Center, where she will be joining Dr. Robert D’Acquisto and staff, serving the Tri-County area. “We are thrilled to welcome another outstanding Oncologist to our Cancer Center Practice,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Over the past year we have expanded upon our care to the community, and we are continuing to grow. Dr. Singhal brings tremendous experience in specialty care as a Hospitalist, Internal Medicine Physician and family practice experience from the Chicago area and the East Coast.” Dr. Singhal completed her Doctorate of Medicine at Lady Hardinge, followed by a Residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital, University of Illinois, in Chicago, IL and Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Missouri, where she served as Chief Fellow....
She holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois. Dr. Singhal has conducted various
research projects on breast and head and neck cancers, including work in Bone Marrow transplant at Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Seattle. Dr. Singhal is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology.
