Low Snow On The Way This Evening and Tomorrow...Winter Storm Warnings Go Into Effect Tonight

Bear Valley, CA...Today: Partly cloudy in the morning...then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow in the afternoon. Highs 19 to 34 higher elevations...32 to 42 lower elevations. Prevailing southeast winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Gusts up to 30 mph. Over ridges...prevailing southwest winds 10 to 20 mph increasing to 15 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Tonight: A chance of snow in the evening...then snow after midnight. Lows 9 to 23 higher elevations...22 to 28 lower elevations. Snow accumulation of 7 to 12 inches. Prevailing south winds 10 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph after midnight...





Saturday: Snow in the morning...then snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 14 to 29 higher elevations...27 to 35 lower elevations. Snow accumulation around 4 inches lower elevations... 5 to 7 inches higher elevations. Prevailing southwest winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph...except southwest 10 to 30 mph over ridges.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers. Much colder. Lows 4 below to 11 above zero higher elevations...6 to 16 lower elevations. Prevailing west winds up to 10 mph shifting to the east after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Not as cold. Highs 21 to 36 higher elevations...31 to 39 lower elevations. Prevailing northeast winds up to 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows 7 to 22.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Not as cold. Highs 29 to 44.

WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW DOWN TO LOW
ELEVATIONS THIS EVENING INTO SATURDAY. SNOW AMOUNTS UP TO 2
FEET POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHER SIERRA... 3 TO 8 INCHES IN THE
