Mark Twain Medical Center Welcomes Orthopaedic Surgeon to Calaveras County
San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center has recruited a board certified orthopaedic surgeon to Calaveras County. Dr. Elisabeth Siegler will practice full-service orthopaedic surgery in Calaveras County starting in November. She will be joining Dr. Craig Lovett along with the Mark Twain Family Medical Center Team at the Specialty Care Centers in both Angels Camp and Valley Springs.“Mark Twain Medical Center is proud to bring another excellent and highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon to our community,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Dr. Siegler treats injuries and disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints and ligaments. She specializes in knee and shoulder injuries and sports injuries. Her skill set will enhance the MTMC Orthopaedic Team by providing more accessible care, right here, close to home.” ...

Dr. Siegler received her Medical degree at University of Southern California, followed by orthopaedic
internship and residency in 2002 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock,
Arkansas. She then served four years with The United States Navy as an orthopaedic staff surgeon as a
Lieutenant Commander at Naval Hospital Bremerton in Bremerton, Washington.
Dr. Siegler is joining us from Santa Cruz, where she has been in private practice. Dr. Siegler is a
Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She and her husband have three young
children.
Practicing in both the Angels Camp and Valley Springs area, Dr. Siegler will join the healthcare team
with Dr. Craig Lovett. Dr. Siegler can be reached at the Mark Twain Medical Center Orthopaedic
