Calaveras Arts Council Hosts Holiday Affordable Gifts of Art Boutique

San Andreas, CA....’Tis the season . . . and the place to shop for unique art gifts is Gallery Calaveras located in historic downtown San Andreas. Avoid the malls and enjoy a relaxed, shopping experience with hot cider and snacks and friendly staff ready at your service. Choose from affordable original art, prints, cards, purses, scarves, jewelry, ceramics, garden art, music, books, pottery, and much more . . .






The Calaveras Arts Council is once again hosting the Holiday Affordable Gifts of Arts Boutique in the gallery located at 22 N. Main Street in San Andreas. Over 50 artists will have a variety of items available for sale beginning Saturday, November 9 and ending Saturday, January 4, 2014. There will be two Holiday Open Houses -- one is Saturday November 9, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and another on Saturday, December 7, noon – 3:00pm. Share the artists’ creativity and their spirit with your family and friends this year by selecting original gifts of art and supporting both them and the Arts Council.



Some of the visual artists participating in the holiday boutique are: Judy Morgan, Ruth Morrow, Paul Neal, Cole Video, Ann Nancy Macomber, Bambi Papais, Sonya Ziegler, Libby Fife, Margaret Roberts, Judie Cain Papais, Andrea Broglio, Pat Miltimore, Marilyn Hinsdale, Janet Trinkle, Sharon Mejia, Cate Culver, Helen Scofield, Kim Barrington, Shay Baker, Martha Wallace, Claudia Schwalm, Barbara Gillespie, WildHare Designs, Joyce Klassen, Randy Klassen, Susie Hoffman, Ty Childress, Pete Kelly, Lori Kelly, Amy Kelly, Lynn M Lynn, Skip Saterlee, Kathy Martinez, Robert Atkinson, Helen Scofield, Donnasue Jacobi, and Fred Roessler.



Ceramic artists represented are: Sarah Switek, Mary Anderson, Lori Kelly, Debra Lawlor, Ken Winebrenner, and Cathi Newlin.



Fabric artist are selling their creations are Deana Murchison, Stacey Joyner, Anita Paque, Sheri Boesch, Jerry Gantgen, and Sandy Young.



Jewelry artists are Edie Schembri, Donna Lynn Keever, Terri Stickles Strunck, Jude Hyman, WildHare Designs and Ingrid Brown.



Specialty items have been created by Randy Metzger, Kate O’Keeffe, Andy Trinkle, Hannah Suncloud, Creekside Creations, Tom Buss, and Larry Anderson.



Books and music CD’s area available by Cole Video, Monika Rose, Antoinette May, Getty Ambau, Glenn Wasson, J.F Langdon, Dale Baker, John Stout, Jr., Larry Bane, Dave Self, Richard Tuttle, Over the Edge, Clan Dyken, Mokelumne Crossing Band, Black Irish, and Mother Lode Friends of Music



Stay local, shop local, buy local. Arts Council members receive a 10% discount off their purchases. The Calaveras Visitors Bureau VIP discount is also available.



Gallery Calaveras, at 22 Main Street in San Andreas, is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The gallery accepts cash, checks and credit cards for payment.
