Girls Night Out At Renegade Winery Coming Up

Mokelumne Hill, CA...We had the pleasure of stopping by and visiting with Renegade's Mark & Sue Rueger earlier this week. We had to check out first hand the great things we have been hearing about this up and coming winery in that other Calaveras town becoming known for it's wines, Mokelumne Hill. They have a beautiful tasting room and winery just to the west of town on Hwy 26. Coming up on May 10th they will be hosting a "Girls Night Out" just in time for Mothers Day...

About Renegade:

We specilaize in bold red wines, made the old fashioned way. Never filtered, never fined. Made the Old World Style with New World Charm.

Mark and I first started enjoying wine about 10 years ago. Our hobby soon turned into a love for wine, and then a passion to learn how to make it. Mark worked with a local winemaker for 3 years to learn the tricks of the trade. Mark traded labor for knowledge. We experienced and did it all when it came to making the wine, from picking the grapes out in the field, to eventually two years later bottling our first vintage. We never knew there was so much involved in making a bottle of wine. We have a whole new appreciation of wine, and hope you will too after enjoying some of our Renegade wine!

We are open and pouring wine every weekend! Come to our tasting room and enjoy a wine bar experience while sitting on the barstools made out of wine barrels. First wine bar/winery to have $5.00 Fridays! Any glass of wine (except port) just $5 Bucks!
