Mokelumne Hill, CA... Petroglyphe Gallery welcomes the arrival of Spring with live musical performances to awaken your passion and enliven your senses. The gallery’s next Spring Sunday Fine Art Concert will be held on Sunday, April 21 in historic downtown Mokelumne Hill. This special event will feature harpist, Motoshi Kosako, and will be preceded by a reception with light appetizers and wine to be served from 3:30 pm until the performance begins at 4 pm. Tickets for limited seating are available for $21 in advance and if available, for $23 on the day of the event. Don’t miss this chance to experience a unique live performance in a venue that melds the visual and musical arts in a relaxed and intimate setting.
Motoshi Kosako is the principal harpist for the Stockton Symphony. Kosako’s latest music innovation is jazz improvisation and composition for the harp. In 2007 he won the second place in the Lyon & Healy International Jazz & Pop Harp Competition and received a “Best of Sacramento” award from Sacramento Magazine who proclaimed, “Kosako plays with a fluid, modern style that evokes Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea.” Petroglyphe Gallery is excited to feature such a talented and visionary musical artist!
