CCWD Board Elects New Board President
San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Water District’s (CCWD) Board of Directors voted at their December 12, 2012 Board Meeting Director Dennis Dooley, representing District 4, to the position of Board President effective immediately. Director Dooley has been on the Board since December of 2009 and previously served on the Board from December 1989 to December 1997. Director Dooley’s background ...
includes time in the U.S. Navy, 20 years working for East Bay Municipal Utility District in the Pardee Lake Operations, and 5 years with California Rural Water Association dedicated to helping small water and wastewater systems throughout California. Director Dooley is currently retired.
In addition to Director Dooley’s appointment, Director Scott Ratterman of District 1 was voted as the Board Vice President.
Congratulations Director Dooley and Director Ratterman!
Before handing over the reins, departing Board President Don Stump introduced the District’s new General Manger, Mitchell Dion, and thanked Lynn Gentry and staff for all their hard work during the transition of general managers during Wednesday’s Board Meeting. Mr. Dion’s first day with the District was Monday December 10th.
