Lucile Fenner honored at Mountain Ranch day in the park 8-25-2012

Mountain Ranch, CA...Lucile Fenner, was honored for her many contributions to the community at the 33rd annual Mountain Ranch Day in the Park, Saturday August 25th. In the early 90's she and Mickey Fleming organized the popular Mountain Ranch Garden Group. An original organizer of the San Andreas Habitat for Humanity and served on that board for several years. Won local and regional recognition for her Calaveras County Garden design. Voted Senior of the year in 1998, and was a long time volunteer at the County Library. Lucile, former director of the Mountain Ranch Youth Alliance (MRYA) and the Youth Alliance's Resource Center (MRRC), was instrumental in establishing both organizations and served on the governing board for many years...

Pictured. L to R, are Jacki Malvini, Margaret Levasseur, Linda and John
Logg, Lucile Fenner and Laura Fultz. Not pictured are Peggy Dodge, Lynn
Swartzell, Joseph Matajcich, Harlene Ciolino, and Judy McMurtry, members of
the original volunteer food crew.

In cooperation with The Resource Connection of San Andreas, Lucile and her crew created a local Food Bank distribution site at the MRRC. Members of that volunteer food crew presented her with a plaque recognizing the years of inspiration and support she has donated to the community of Mountain Ranch.
