Fire Update...Structure Fire Off of Hwy 49...Update Home a Total Loss

Angels Camp, CA...Crews are working a structure fire with power lines down on Hwy 49 near Carson Hill. The home at the base of Carson Hill on Hwy 49 completely burned to the ground tonight. The resident had recently passed away and the family members had been cleaning and working on the home. They had left for a few minutes and were at a relatives home nearby when they noticed the blaze had started. From all of us at ThePineTree.net our thoughts and prayers are with the family tonight....

I feel so deeply for the family involved.
to first have a loved one die then to have the house burn up.
my prayers are with them today.

If I was an arson investigator I would be looking real close at this one. I would like to know what items had already been removed and what remained.

Many, Many items were still left to be removed from the home...family was visibly upset last night as well. Don't see that as any possibility on this one form being on scene

Yay! One of our resident positive spokesperson has spoken.
I concur with some earlier poster that no matter the event someone is always looking on the bright side.

        This is all pure sarcasm.

I am glad that no additional personal trauma has fallen upon the family. One death is enough, but the loss of family mementos at a time like this is an additional emotional injury.

In response to the chicken s..t individual who feels that it was set by an arsonist, let me tell u how dare u put into writing that one of my family members had set the fire for personal gain of some sort . Just to let the readers know the last person to leave the house was the owners daughter , my mom, (my name TOM HICKMAN). I was in Stockton my self but talking through out the day with her and my uncle ( her brother) are the two people who was there till late that afternoon .So to blame those two people for setting a fire is such B.S. and if u knew them and knew they were raised along with me ( which by the way I lost everything from kindergarten to college history that now is only in memory ) so when the "cause" of the fire is determined and it's reads something other than ARSON I hope your pathetic thoughts and belief in how it started makes u think for a bit and not speak out of your ass next time and would appreciate (if u reply) to tell your name not anonymous,or as we have named you CHICKEN ...T
