HAIL THIS AFTERNOON OVER THE HIGH SIERRA...
MONSOONAL MOISTURE WORKING ITS WAY NORTHWARD TODAY IS EXPECTED TO
PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS THIS AFTERNOON OVER
THE HIGH SIERRA. THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY CONTAIN
LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES AND
GUSTY WINDS. THE HIGHEST THREAT AREA THIS AFTERNOON LOOKS TO OCCUR
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50...BUT THIS EVENING THE TREAT AREA MAY SPREAD
FURTHER NORTH ALONG THE CREST.
OUTDOOR RECREATIONALIST...ESPECIALLY BOATERS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO
