Fire Update....Penn and Graham Fires Behaving

Murphys & Groveland CA....Many of the resources that were on the Penn fire are already being moved to other incidents. The tanker and helicopters are now working on the Graham. The perimeter of the Graham is holding but when the temps rose today the smoke output from the interior of the fire kicked up significantly. No evacuations have been ordered or planned for either of these incidents. Great work by all of the crews!! !

I'm watching the wind blowing through the trees in my yard, off of PG.
They have picked up this afternoon :(

Yes, HUGE thanks to fire crews. THey deserve a lot of credit. My thoughts go out for a speedy recovery to the injured firefighter.

A wildfire is very, very scary with our area being so dry and with so much fuel to burn. It is one of my worst fears. You see it on the news - of a whole community devasted by wildfire. I just thankful this fire was suppressed as quickly as it was - I don't want to seee our community on the national news - no for a raging fire! (but maybe for our fine wines!)
