Bodega del Sur Winery is hosting “Girls Day Out,” a fundraiser for The Resource Connection of Calaveras County
Murphys, CA - Bodega del Sur Winery will be hosting “Girls Day Out,” a fundraiser for the Resource Connection of Calaveras County, Saturday August 25th, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at The Garden in Murphys across from the Black Bart Theatre on Algiers Street. Admission to “Girls Day Out” is $20.00/person. “Girls Day Out” will have something for everyone. Local fashion merchants, OVO, Sierra Nevada Adventure Company, and VdorA will be showcasing their latest fashions for women, men, and pets. Hair and make-up services for our community-volunteer models will be provided by Marda Perry of Jen’z Salon. ...
Along with the fashion show, there will be a pre-show reception with light snacks from Sierra Hills Market served with a glass of Bodega del Sur wine. Nicholas Lefler will be serenading the crowd with his live multi-instrument loops using Spanish guitar, bass, and Latin percussion. A silent auction will feature an array of special offerings from local restaurants and merchants.
Raffle ticket donation is $10.00 with a 1/100 chance to win: two (2) tickets to the Tony Bennett concert at Ironstone Vineyards (8/31/12), pre-concert dinner for two (2) at Angelo’s Steakhouse Italiano and a bottle of Bodega del Sur wine.
“Girls Day Out” tickets and raffle tickets are currently on sale at Bodega del Sur’s Tasting Room (457 S Algiers, Murphys), OVO (466 Main St. Murphys), Sierra Nevada Adventure Company (448 Main St. Murphys), VdorA (207 Main St. Murphys), Jen’z Salon (380 Main St. Murphys), and Murphys Public Library (480 Park Lane, Murphys).
