Fire Update...Vegetation Fire on Higdon Road
West Point, CA...Crews are working a vegetation fire on Higdon Road in the West Point Area. More to follow. They are calling a full wildland response which means multiple units and all aircraft out of Columbia. More to follow......Update as of 4:23pm...We just checked in with CAL-FIRE'S Lisa Williams and the fire is 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre with a slow rate of spread. More to follow.....Initial units made quick work of this fire and it is now called contained...
