Celebrate Amador! in the 80’s and “No Chance of Rain”
Plymouth, CA. Celebrate Amador! will be held at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, June 8, 9 & 10th. The Amador Home & Lifestyle Show is 3 days and the Fair Aid portion will be 2 days, Saturday & Sunday only. This includes live music on the weekend, home, garden and leisure products, crafts, Dutch Oven and Rib Cook-Offs, Horse Show, and a variety of antique engines all running under a full head of steam....
As the festival ramps up, many things are coming together. Over 100,000 Free Passes are available at retailers in Amador and adjoining counties.
Amador County Fair CEO said “we know the community loves the Amador County Fair, but the outpouring of help from media has really been wonderful with special sections, personal interviews and all the advertising. The Amador Home & Lifestyle Show people have done a great job of getting Free Passes everywhere and attracting so many excellent exhibitors.”
Sears will have a “Tractor Rodeo” where lawn tractors can be tried out and run through speed and obstacle courses. The Placerville Polaris will be here with ATVs, Quads, Rangers and Razors with a large demonstration area.
An unusual exhibit will be Miniature Highland Cattle. These are very rare and yet popular because of their shaggy and colorful appearance. One will be there with its “pasture buddy”, an Alpaca!
While the Home and Lifestyle Show gate admission is $5.00, donations will be accepted to attend the other events, and Bowers says they will operate under a "pay what you can" policy. Openings are still available for exhibitors at the Amador Home & Lifestyle Show and complimentary passes are available online and at select retailers.
