The Friends of the Fair will be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9 at 6pm at Camps in Greenhorn Creek
Angels Camp, CA...The Friends of the Fair will be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9 at 6pm at Camps in Greenhorn Creek. This is a special date. Our regular meeting is the third Wednesday but this month that is the night before the Fair so we will be meeting tomorrow instead. The agenda is simple: Fair Prep....
We will also discuss the Reggae Festival.
Other items of note:
RAFFLE: Tickets for our annual Pot of Gold Raffle are available for purchase. We will pull five tickets. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening the prize is $1,000. You need to present your ticket within one hour of the drawing and we will call you. On Sunday, the holder of the first ticket drawn will have a choice of $10,000 or the Circle J Horse Trailer. The holder of the second ticket drawn will receive the other prize. Tickets are available from any Board Member. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100.
MEMBERSHIP: Our membership year begins on April 1 so your dues are due. For a mere $25 per year family membership, you will be able to purchase discounted tickets to the fair for yourself and your immediate family. What a deal! And, your dues are used to support Friends of the Fair and our projects to improve the fairgrounds. If you need more information about membership, let me know.

CHAMBER MIXER: The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce will be holding their mixer on Thursday, May 10 at the Ranch House from 5:30 ppm - 7:00 pm. We are co-hosting the mixer.
WHISKERINO: If you missed our annual Whiskerino Dinner/Dance then you missed a great event. The hall was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and the volunteers helping with ticket sales and bartending worked so well together that you'd think they were pros. Every year gets better. Mark your calendar for next year!
