Bret Hart FFA Take State Championhips! By John Hamilotn
Angels Camp, CA...Yesterday afternoon parking circle at Bret Harte on Murphys Grade Road started filling up about 3pm. Parents and friends were gathering to welcome home the victorious State Champion Bret Harte FFA team. The took first place in Poultry, Floriculture and second place in Dairy. It was another great year for the Bret Harte Agriculture program led by Roy Beck. The victorious Floral team was Heather Kirkendall, Marissa Gzell, Melissa Spence and Jessica Jensen. The Poultry Team was Kelsey Lowe, Haley Warner, Elaine Jordan, Lauren Young and alternate Megan Yoder...

The Dairy Product team was Kayla Sadler, Lauren Finley, Stephen Molina, Alison Ramsey and Julia Kalika was the alternate.
The team will now represent California in the National Championships in October.
