Frank Joseph Chimente 1918 - 2012
Cedar Ridge, CA...Cedar Ridge resident Frank Joseph Chimente died on April 29 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. He was 94. Mr. Chimente was a longtime resident of San Lorenzo before moving to Cedar Ridge. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 40 years and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Sonora SIRS club and enjoyed gardening and gambling at Black Oak Casino. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Chimente of Cedar Ridge; his sons, Robert Chimente of Cedar Ridge; Michael and daughter in-law Maria of Angels Camp; grandchildren, Mark, Michelle, Tony, Joseph and Thomas; and two step great-grandchildren....
A visitation will be held from 1 to 7pm Friday, May 4 followed by a Rosary at 7pm at Angels Memorial Chapel.
A mass will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, May 5 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church , Angels Camp

For sure we will all miss his humor and his special laugh he was fun to be around. He lived without concern for what other's might think. He was his own man. Mary was a wonderful wife to Frank all their 64 years together.
