Soroptimists Spring Into Action!
Calaveras County, CA...Local non-profit “springs into action” during the months of April & May with a variety of public events including the following: Free Lipid Panels for Calaveras County Women in conjunction with Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital during the months of April & May to combat heart disease, the number one killer of women! Next is the Soroptimist Chili & Cupcake Tasting on May 5th at the Murphy’s Hotel a great family event with live music and finally is the organizations 65th Annual Youth Parade in Historic .....
Angels Camp at 10 am on Thursday, May 17th. The Parade and the Lipid testing is absolutely FREE and the fund raising Chili & Cupcake Tasting from 11 am to 2 pm is $5 for tasting a variety of competition chili mixtures and $5 for tasting a selection of mini cupcakes! Proceeds from the Chili & Cupcake Tasting support scholarships and programs for women and children throughout Calaveras County. More information is available on all events at sicalaverascounty.org or by calling 736-1947. Join Soroptimists for good health and great fun as they “spring into action.”
