Sonora Pass is Open to Kennedy Meadows
Sonora Pass in Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has removed the snow, cleared the debris and made the necessary repairs to open State Route 108/ Sonora Pass to Kennedy Meadows on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. (noon)..
The diligent work of Caltrans crews enabled the opening of this section of
the pass in time for the beginning of fishing season on Monday, April 30,
2012.
Caltrans crews responsible for the road opening extend their best wishes
for traveling to those who enjoy the recreational opportunities this part
of California has to offer.
