Letter to the Editor~by Jeane Kennedy
As a citizen of Calaveras County I would like to thank the candidates running for supervisor in the upcoming election. To think that this many of our fellow residents would pledge to give up their time, turn from their employment and other endeavors, and work full time for our country is heartwarming to say the least. ....
For the past 10 years I have served on advisory committees for 3 of our supervisors. I've seen first hand that the job of County Supervisor is, and should be, a full time commitment that we as citizens sometimes take for granted. I would urge each of us to personally thank the candidates for this pledge.

Thank you Jeane for your work as an advisor. I too applaud our supervisors for all their hard work. I have worked closely with Supervisor Callaway for many years and know how dedicated she is to making our great County even better.
