Film Fest Twain Harte judging panel complete. Two returning judges will join actors Jeffrey Weissman and Zack Gold and San Francisco Chronicle film critic G. Allen Johnson
Twain Harte, CA – Zack Gold, Film Fest Twain Harte co-founder and president, has announced the completion of the judging panel for this year’s event scheduled for Labor Day weekend, August 31-September 3. Actress Sascha Grandoit, who has worked with renowned director Dominique Serrand and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins, returns to the judging panel. Mark Lee Schroeder, film critic for the Santa Monica Mirror and Hollywood production artist, has joined the esteemed panel once again. Actor Jeffrey Weissman (Back to the Future II and III, Pale Rider, and Twilight Zone the Movie) and Film Fest Twain Harte board member, will also again serve as a judge....
New to the judging corps are: Brian Haughton, an ASU business graduate with a focus on film and an attendee to more than 25 national and international film festivals; Cheryl McIntire, opened her own casting company in 2004. She has worked on several feature films and works as a casting director; Trenton Waterson, an independent producer and owner of The Collaborate production company, has worked as an assistant to Executive Producer PatriciaWhitcher on Marvell’s Avengers and Thor; Kevin Fox is the director of four documentary shorts and the 2011-acclaimed feature documentary titled Changing the Game.
G. Allen Johnson, a San Francisco Chronicle film critic, has directed three films--two shots and a feature, The Waiter in 1997-- has produced short films Learning to Fly and the upcoming Sore Knuckles and two upcoming feature-length documentaries, Cowboys and Revolution Revisited.

Mr. Gold has also announced the appointment of Brandon Smith, a San Francisco investment executive, and Marv Ravely, a Twain Harte community leader, to the Film Fest’s sponsorship committee joining Jim Jordan and Roger Haughton.
