Angels Camp, CA...William George Foster died Monday March 20, 2012, at his home in Angels Camp. He was 75. Born July 8, 1936 in Portland, Oregon Bill was a resident of Angels Camp for the past 15 years. Before moving to Angels Camp, he worked as a State Farm Insurance in Dublin, CA for over 30 years. He was involved with local Chamber of Commerce, Exchange Club, and Dublin Sister City organizations. Bill was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed music, singing, flying, golf, and baking brownies with his grandchildren....
He is survived by his wife Linda Strangio Foster of Angels Camp. Daughters Pam Shore of San Jose, Carrie McWilliams of Culpeper, VA, and Lori DeWolf of Arvada, CO; sons Scott Foster of Danville, CA, and Steven Foster of Lynchburg, VA; cousin Penny Garrity of Honolulu, HI; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM Monday, March 26 at John Knox Church, 7421 Amarillo Road, Dublin, CA. A celebration service will be held at 3PM Tuesday, March 27 at Camps Restaurant in GreenHorn Creek.
