Adopt-A-Pet This Saturday at Big Trees Market in Arnold
These kittens will be featured at the Calaveras Humane Society's Adopt-a-Pet in Arnold on Saturday, June 30th at Big Trees Market after the 4th of July Parade through town from 11:00 to 3:00. Drop by and check them out!....
How we work: Our homeless animals are housed in volunteer foster homes throughout the county. Please contact the number or email address under the photo (if present) to discuss that particular adoption or call our general contact number at (209) 736-9417. Our general email is chs@calaverashumane.org . All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, screened for heartworm (in dogs) and feline leukemia (in cats) and vaccinated before becoming available for adoption. We ask adoption donations for each pet placed to help cover our costs; Dogs: $150. House cats and kittens: $50 for one, $80 for two. Barn cats: Free, but we'd really like $25 for "snipping" and handling. All these costs are less then it would cost the general public to have this same work done. We are an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We work cooperatively with the county's Animal Services in San Andreas to save their animals.
