Snowshoes, don't wait till it snows in Murphys, get'em at SNAC!

Arnold, Murphys & Sonora, CA...With Thanksgiving just a couple days away, all of us at SNAC want to send out a sincere Thank You to all of our customers who have continued to support us throughout the past 17 years. As a small business operating in a small community we couldn't survive without you! As always, our commitment to you is to provide you with innovative, new products at affordable prices...

Speaking of innovative products - MSR's Evo Snowshoes are back after a banner sales season last year. There are several unique features of MSR EVOs. First of all, they're designed and manufactured in Seattle, Washington of a virtually indestructible material. They also have a patented, modular design, allowing you to change their floatation area to suit various snow conditions and snowshoer weights. The patented traverse bars allow you to go sideways on steep slopes without slipping downhill. All of this for $139.95 - now that's real value! From recreational users to Search & Rescue teams to P.G.& E. workers - MSR snowshoes have never let any of us down. Add a set of Black Diamond Traverse poles at $69.95, and you're ready for any terrain!

Even if you don't leave the pavement, SNAC has you covered with several kinds of traction devices for your shoes so you can walk confidently in any winter condition. Starting at $24.95, Stabilicers Lite fit easily over any shoe or boot, provide excellent grip in ice and don't interfere with driving. For unparalleled traction in any condition and a secure fit in deep snow, we highly recommend the Diamond Grip Ice Trekkers which a great value at $39.95. And finally for those folks that work above the snowline everyday, we suggest the Original Stabilicers with replaceable cleats (Sonora & Arnold).

This year SNAC has the best selection of Snow Boots ever! All three stores have so many models - you'll just have to go and check them out. Since all of our stores have a different inventory you'll find something special at each one. We even have Tots and Children's boots in Murphys & Arnold. Murphys has the more fashion-forward Sorel models and in Arnold & Sonora, you'll find the more traditional, rugged look. To go with your new snow boots - check out the beautiful selection of Smartwool Socks. Ladies you'll love the stripes & patterns and Men - we have just what you need for work - thick & cushy in every color! Let us set you up with happy feet, because if your feet aren't happy, how can you be?

SNAC has practical gifts for Everyone in your Family!

Mark your calendar! On Friday, December 2nd from 5-8, Murphys Open House welcomes the community to downtown with street closure, carolers, a parade and all the stores open into the evening hours. To start the holidays off right, SNAC Murphys is presenting our Nature Photographer, Rick Harray's Winter Exhibit. Come meet the artist who has gone into the high country and come back with fine art photos and giclees of all our local Sierra passes. His Winter Exhibit also features beautiful photos of downtown Murphys and Angels Camp, covered in snow. If you're looking for a one of a kind gift this season, check out the lighting in his Murphys Creek on a Snowy Day. We'd love to share this magical evening with you, so plan to join us for Murphys Open House!

SNAC will be closed on Thanksgiving Day to celebrate with our families. We hope you have fun enjoying the day with yours. We'll be back for you on Friday, November 25th at 10:00 a.m. Cheers from your friends at SNAC!
