iCLOUD AND OTHER APPLE INOVATIONS EXPLORED AT SMUG’S NOVEMBER 8 MEETING
Unmasking the mysteries of iCloud and other new innovations from Apple will be the major focus when members of the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) gather for their monthly meeting Tuesday, November 8 at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4, in Arnold. Brian Thomas, Technology Specialist and Trainer for the Calaveras County Office of Education and an expert on all things Mac, will be making the presentation and leading the discussion. His topics will include the introduction of the iOS 5 free software update and a summary of the new features in the iPhone 4s....
As always questions on these and any other computer subjects will be encouraged.
SMUG meets the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to everyone and there is no charge to attend. The organization exists to keep Mac users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Macs possess.
SMUG was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Annual dues are $15. For more information visit the SMUG website at www.SierraMacintoshUsersGroup.org or call 795-3798 or 728-9012.
