Will The Clouds Part for Irish Day? Luck O' The Irish They Will!!
Murphys, CA...Precipitation rolls back into the region tonight. Don't worry though the clouds usually part long enough to allow Irish Day to proceed without a hitch. Here is what the NWS says is on tap for our area. Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 36. Southwest wind at 7 mph becoming northeast. Friday: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11am. High near 52. East wind 7 to 10 mph becoming south between 15 and 18 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%....
The above graphic starts at Bear Valley followed by Arnold, Murphys, Angels Camp and Copperopolis. This hopefully will give you a good idea of what to expect at the different elevations in our area. The latest info is always on our weather page..
Friday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 35. Breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
Saturday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. South wind between 10 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. South southeast wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Sunday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Sunday Night: Showers. Low around 33. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

FRIDAY WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY PRECIPITATION, ESPECIALLY OVER THE
WEST SLOPE OF THE SIERRA NEVADA. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE INITIALLY 4000
FEET LOWERING TO 2500 FEET BY SATURDAY MORNING. ANOTHER STORM TO
IMPACT THE REGION AGAIN ON SUNDAY. ADDITIONAL RAIN OVER SATURATED
SOIL WILL GENERATE THE GREATEST CONCERN WITH LOCALIZED FLOODING AND
