Saturday Drowning Victim Identified
Groveland, CA....We so sadly reported on a drowning that occurred on Saturday, December 18th at approximately 3:35pm at 22100 Hells Hallow Road in Groveland. According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is has been identified as 79 year old Alfonzo Garcia, of Groveland. According to Sgt. Jeff Wilson of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Mr. Garcia was reported missing at 1:30 p.m. Saturday after not returning home on Friday.....
Mr. Garcia was found near his home face down in a puddle to a nearby pond.
An autopsy is being conducted to verify the exact cause of death.
Our deepest thought and prayers go out to Mr. Garcia's family and friends.
