In Loving Memory of Matt Brubaker, 1958~2010
Matt Brubaker, 51, after losing his battle with cancer, passed away on December 15th 2010 at the Veterans Hospital, Palo Alto with his loving family by his side. He was born in Turlock, CA on December 31st 1958 to Virginia and Ted Brubaker. Matt was a dedicated and passionate auto technician, owning and operating his own businesses in Calaveras County since 1989. Matt served in the US Air Force until 1981. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, car shows, camping, road trips and spending quality time with his family and .....
friends. Matt is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Justin Hannah of Livermore; daughters, Jamie & Kari Brubaker of WA; dad Ted Brubaker of Murphys. Matt has two sisters, Karen & Kathy and was preceded in death by his mom Virginia. Matt will be missed by his in-law’s, Helen Bennett of Angels Camp, Tim and Kathleen Bennett of Murphys and Kathy Bennett and Robert Falcon of Lodi.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in memory of Matt; to Hospice of Amador & Calaveras: 1500 S. Hwy 49 Suite 205 Jackson, CA 95642.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tim and Kathleen Bennett's home, 1331 Wingdam Rd., Murphys on Tuesday, December 21st, at 1:00pm.
Alta Mesa Funeral Home of Palo Alto will handle the cremation, with private internment in Murphys, CA.
