In Loving Memory of William "Bill" Holstein 1939~2010
Arnold, CA...William “Bill” Holstein passed away at the age of 71 on November 26th, 2010 at his home in Arnold. He was born August 17, 1939 in Madison, Wisconsin. Bill graduated from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse with a degree in Business and History. He moved to California in 1989 and on March 22, 1991 married his College sweetheart, Jill in Concord. CA. He is survived by wife Jill; Sister Alice Holstein, LaCrosse, WI; son Jason and daughter Laura, both of WI; step-daughters Lisa (Gary) Lee of Arnold: Robyn (Danny) Echevarria, Corona, CA; step-son David (Kelli) Teteak, So. Lake Tahoe, CA; 7 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren......
Bill was very active in the community: He held offices at: HOA, IH, EPPOC, and was phone caller for “Search and Rescue”. He was Chaplin for 2 Masonic Lodges #33 in Murphys and #78 in San Andreas. Past Pres. of the “MarkTwain Shrine Club”. Bill and Jill were installed as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron of “Motherlode #123 Order of the Eastern Star on November 14th 2010.
A Memorial service will be held at the Masonic Hall on 384 Church Street in Murphys on Saturday the 18th of December at 2:00pm.
