Alcohol Partly To Blame For Arnold Crash
Arnold, CA...Just after 3pm on October 30th, a 65 year old Mountain Ranch Man was driving his 2004 Toyota pickup Westbound on Hwy 4 at a high rate of speed when he failed to observe a Valley Springs man in his Ford pickup waiting to make a left turn into a gas station...
The front of the Toyota rear-ended the rear of the Ford pickup, propelling the Ford in a North-Westerly direction off the highway and into a tree. The Mountain Ranch resident was arrested for DUI at the scene.
Both trucks received major damage. The drive and passenger of the Ford were both from Valley Springs and they were taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries
